Ukraine suspends Druzhba pipeline southern branch – Transneft

MOSCOW, Nov 23 (PRIME) -- Ukrainian oil pipeline operator Ukrtransnafta has stopped pumping of oil through the southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline, and it is unclear when pumping will be restored, Igor Dyomin, advisor to the president of Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft, told PRIME on Wednesday.

“The branch running from Brody to the Carpathian Mountains in Ukraine was suspended. Belarus is pumping oil to Brody right now. I cannot say when Ukrtransnafta will turn on again,” he said.
